May be the time has come that you need a new car, you dread it because they are so expensive but there are way to save money and still get what you need. One-way is to may be considering buying a slightly used car instead of a brand new one. Maybe just a year or two older will save you a lot of money. If you do decide to go with a used car, try going to a used car dealer instead of a new dealer looking for a used car, they may hike up the price to compensate for people not buying a new car.
If you have your heart set on a new car, then stay clear of every fancy option they give you, don’t go for a 5 CD changer, only get the standard CD player, that will also save you a lot of money in the long run. If you really want to save money, try to forgo the CD player altogether and just get the standard radio.
If you are financing, try to put, as much money down as you can it will keep the monthly payments lower too. Try to get the best apr when talking to the salesman, if they want to sell the car they will work with you. Some car dealers have set prices and will not haggle with you, what the price is it is and that is a place you may want to consider buying a car from. They won’t try to nickel and dime you for extras because they will either come with the car or they won’t.
